The Polchronicle magazine is another mouthpiece of the LMPS,
it works along the same wavelength as it’s sister publication Leseli ka
Sepolesa and it is sold at M5.50 per copy. It is written in English and the
Commissioner of Police is it’s publisher and it is printed by the Government
printers through the Epic Printers which is a privately owned company.
The magazine’s primary goals are similar to
those of Laseli and is also produced within the Press Unit. The inspector who
is in charge of Leseli ka Sepolesa spearheads the magazine and is edited by the
same Trooper who is the sub editor of the paper. Some of the reporters who
write for the paper also contribute in the magazine.
The magazine was produced as a newsletter
until recently when it was
transformed into its current form. It is published quarterly, in 16 pages and
in full colour. Like its sister publication, it provides maximum coverage of
most criminal activities, national and social issues around the capital Maseru,
as well as in the other nine districts of the country.
